Alpenhotel Rieger - Mittenwald

Fine views of the Karwendel Alps from the balcony.

I faced a few annoyances. We were unexpectedly charged for a cappuccino that wasn't included in our breakfast. The minor fees for bathrobes made it seem as though every little service was scrutinized. I also encountered an issue where one of our family rooms was canceled without notification, leading to last-minute rebooking at a higher rate.

the room was wonderfully decorated, had large private bathroom. location: the hotel was next to restaurants and shops, a grocery store across the street, and bavaria and northern italy. spent a nice evening at postkeller, located minutes from the venue.

The location in a pedestrian area was excellent and absolutely perfect and there were a supermarket and shops nearby.

Weak Wi-Fi signal impacted connectivity!!! Limited English menu options created confusion!!! Pool temperature could be uncomfortably cold for some!!! Soundproofing between rooms needs improvement!!!

Simply nothing too much trouble, wonderful stay. Quiet accommodation with excellent setting close enough to Lautersee, the cable car station and cafes. Extremely spacious and very pretty hotel unit for great comfort. Coffee, tea, cereal, and pastries for breakfast, nice touch...

Awesome views from the balcony. The breakfast buffet had a great variety. The staff was super helpful! Location is perfect. Just steps from the town center. Clean, spacious rooms.

I stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was huge and super comfy! The view from the balcony of the Karwendel mountains was amazing. The room had everything you'd need, and the cleanliness was on point. Only downside was the furniture could use a refresh, and the TV was kinda old.

Alpenhotel Rieger is amazing location at the end of the pedestrian area. The suite I stayed in was not only spacious but also very clean, with a bathtub. The amazing view of the Karwendel mountain from the balcony was a highlight, especially during nature's lovely displays. The service provided by Mr Gieck was really good.

The furniture in the room could benefit from a refresh.

Alpenhotel Rieger offers an very nice stay with a perfect location at the end of the pedestrian area, just steps away from shops and local attractions. The spacious suite provided amazing views of the Karwendel mountains, and the hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness. The highlight of my vacays was the really good service from Mr Gieck. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with locally sourced options that delighted our taste buds.

Family with children will love it

Everything was perfect. The breakfast room had this cozy Bavarian vibe that just made mornings special. The fresh baked goods were so good, I could not stop myself.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but the experience made it worth it.

The check-in was super friendly and they showed me right to my room, which was spacious and clean with a cozy vibe. I loved relaxing in the sauna and taking a dip in the heated swimming pool after a day out exploring. One minor issue was that I couldn't pick my breakfast table for the best view, but it didn't dampen my experience one bit! 😊

We were delighted to find our hotel within just a few steps of the vibrant pedestrian area, great to stroll easily to local shops and enjoy breakfast at nearby cafes. We were only about 1.5 km from the fine leutasch gorge for a beautiful day hike.
